GreenSTREEM™

A natural extension to an already environmentally sustainable solution, GreenSTREEM™ is the newest offering to InnoPACK’s suite of eco-friendly services. GreenSTREEM has been created to efficiently recover, recycle and reprocess plastic packaging and internal dunnage systems that have reached the end of their service life. Without burdening already stressed landfills, GreenSTREEM offers a viable alternative for the disposal of surplus, damaged or obsolete packaging. For customers, this new service will assist in achieving corporate environmental objectives, provide more floor space for new initiatives, and bring savings to their bottom line. 

 

 How GreenSTREEM™ Works

When returnable packaging is brought to the InnoPACK facility it is closely evaluated. Using a comprehensive audit format, packaging is sectioned into two streams, reusable or recyclable. Reusable packaging is cleaned, reformatted for new projects and redeployed. When packaging doesn’t meet high appraisal standards, it is decommissioned, cleaned, broken down and readied for recycling. Included in this service is a volume analysis report that details the amount of packaging that was reused and recycled. Customers appreciate the eco-friendly alternative to landfill and the transparency of the process that GreenSTREEM provides.
