LONDON, Ontario, March 25, 2008 – London-Fanshawe MP, Irene Matthyssen toured Bradford InnoPACK’s facility today to see first hand the operation of its new eco-friendly service, GreenSTREEM™.

"I am impressed with the work that Bradford InnoPACK has put into developing its GreenSTREEM program. The GreenSTREEM program is a good example of what Jack Layton and I mean when we talk about the need for a 'green collar' job strategy. Our federal government needs to work with business to foster an environment where GreenSTREEM and programs like it become the industry standard," said Ms Matthyssen

GreenSTREEM is a made-in-Canada environmentally friendly solution and the conduit for diversion of packaging waste from landfill. The process includes sorting, cleaning, and inspecting all returned packaging. The assessment of the packaging determines whether it will be redeployed or decommissioned and readied for recycling. Customers of GreenSTREEM are provided with an auditable volume analysis that details the amount of packaging that is available for redeployment and the amount of packaging that will be recycled.

In its first six months of operation GreenSTREEM will divert over 700,000 lbs from landfill.
